In the politically correct landscape of America these days, saying “Merry Christmas” can be twisted into an insult. Because not everyone is Christian, liberals and militant activists think that wishing someone good cheer and a happy holiday is a bad thing. How can saying “Merry Christmas” to strangers or friends and family ever been taken as an insult? It makes no sense and leaves millions baffled.
Nonetheless, the left wants to take “Merry Christmas” away from us. But now that we have our man in the White House, he is going to set people straight on a number of issues just like this one.
Donald Trump is aware that America is in the middle of a culture war. And in that battle, he is firmly on the side of saying “Merry Christmas” instead of the generic, politically correct “Happy Holidays.” His opponents have tried to stop him from saying it, but he just released a response on the issue that leaves them stunned and speechless.
It looks like more people are going to be saying “Merry Christmas” this year…
On the campaign trail, Donald Trump promised to save the term “Merry Christmas.” He, like many of you, have noticed that people are afraid to say it sometimes. If they don’t know for sure that the person is Christian, they don’t want to “offend” someone by telling them to enjoy December 25th.
Donald Trump will not only save the term “Merry Christmas”, he will make it the gold standard once again.
On the campaign trail he promised:
“We have to be careful as Christians, the progressives are pushing to an extent that if we’re not careful we’re going to have some big problems-even bigger than we have now. We need people that can support us, we need people that are strong and smart, that can back us. The word Christmas, I love Christmas, you go to stores and it doesn’t say the word Christmas, it says ‘Happy Holidays.’ Where’s Christmas? I tell my wife, ‘Don’t go to those stores.’”
“I want to see Christmas. You’re going to see it if I get elected. I can tell you right now.”
Watch the video below to see Trump issues his promise to you. You’re going to get more “Christmas” with him in office than you ever did with Obama.
Hundreds of people have commented on Trump’s promise to make American celebrate Christmas again. This is what some of them wrote:
“Merry Christmas, PRESIDENT-ELECT TRUMP!!!”
“It’s really very simple, if you actually get offended by somebody saying ‘Merry Christmas’, you’re a moron. Do you get offended by somebody saying ‘have a great Tuesday’ or ‘Happy Halloween’ or ‘have a good Memorial Day’? No you don’t, and whether you celebrate Christmas or not, December 25th IS Christmas Day, that’s why the calendar says in that spot, CHRISTMAS DAY.”
“You won Sir, now bring back Christmas.”
“Trump is Right !”
“I’m so tired of the spoiled brat millennial libs fighting for gender neutral bathrooms and how “Christmas” is offensive… get off the stage!!!!!!”
Do you think America should be proud to celebrate Christmas?
